"Last year, the Congressional Progressive Caucus (CPC) introduced the People’s Budget, a budget alternative for fiscal year (FY) 2012, which would have achieved fiscal sustainability while investing in economic recovery, strengthening the middle class, and protecting vital social insurance programs (Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and the Affordable Care Act). For FY2013, the CPC has released the Budget for All as an alternative to President Barack Obama’s budget request for FY2013"
